This joint special project of PEN Ukraine and the magazine of literary reportage Reporters. illustrates the most significant events in the history of independent Ukraine that affected the lives of each of us.
The purpose of the project is to highlight the events that defined the life of independent Ukraine through photos. To achieve this, the expert group, consisting of the PEN Ukraine members, made a list of 30 significant socio-political events of the Independence. Each year’s main event is coupled with archival photos and comments from experts — writers, journalists, human rights activists and philosophers.
