Kebuladze Vakhtang

Philosopher, writer, translator

Born on 12 February 1972 in Kyiv, Vakhtang is a philosopher, writer and translator. Professor of Department of Theoretical and Practical Philosophy at Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University. Doctor of Philosophy. 1989–1994, studied at Department of Philosophy of the Taras Shevchenko University in Kyiv.

In 1994, defended his thesis on "Kant and Russian Religious Philosophy".

1994–1997, postgraduate studies at Department of Philosophy of the Taras Shevchenko University in Kyiv. In October 1998, he has become a junior research fellow at Department of Philosophy of the Taras Shevchenko University in Kyiv.

In 1998, he defended his dissertation on "Husserl’s Intersubjectivity as Transcendental Background for A. Schütz’s Phenomenological Concept of Experience", obtained PhD.

October 1998–January 2000, he did an internship at Department of Philosophy and Department of Social Sciences (Sociology), University of Konstanz (Germany), financially supported by DAAD program (German Academic Exchange Service).

In 2000–2005, Assistant at Department of Philosophy of the Taras Shevchenko University in Kyiv. In 2006–2016, Assistant Professor at Department of Philosophy of the Taras Shevchenko University in Kyiv. In June 2012, he defended a dissertation on "Concept of Experience in Transcendental Phenomenology", obtained an academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

Since July 2016, he is a Professor at Department of Theoretical and Practical Philosophy at the Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv.
