Lviv journalist Victor Dudar died in a battle near Mykolaiv
In a battle during the defense of Mykolaiv, famous Lviv investigative journalist Victor Dudar died.
In 2014–2015, Victor fought at hotspots in Donbas. Then he became a reservist and returned to Lviv where he worked for Express Newspaper. There he conducted journalistic investigations and covered military topics. He went to the frontline in the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
March 6–8 in Zovkva, the deceased’s hometown, are declared the days of mourning.
Victor Dudar was survived by his wife Oksana and daughter Sophia.
