Book description

The future we aspire to is the theme of the 2020 UN General Assembly, and it has become the starting point of this collection of essays. Ten Ukrainian intellectuals reflected on the future of Ukraine and the world, our dreams and fears, as well as the connection between the future and the past. Different views and voices are intertwined into a holistic picture, which makes us ask ourselves once again what awaits us ahead.

The book includes texts of Kateryna Botanova, Volodymyr Yermolenko, Serhiy Zhadan, Vakhtang Kebuladze, Andriy Kurkov, Taras Lyuty, Tanja Maljartschuk, Taras Prokhasko, Yurii Prokhasko, and Natalka Sniadanko.

The essays were written as part of the Ukrainian PEN project and translit eV "Online Residence for German Translators" . The publication was prepared with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and MEET UP! German-Ukrainian Youth Meetings of EVZ Foundation.

E-book is available here free of charge.
