Ukraine’s place in Europe’s future: a conversation between Ukrainian and foreign intellectuals
On July 5, a conversation between Ukrainian and foreign intellectuals entitled Ukraine’s place in Europe’s future will be held in Kyiv.
Speakers:
- Timothy Garton Ash, Professor of European Studies, University of Oxford;
- Volodymyr Yermolenko, philosopher, president of PEN Ukraine;
- Sylvie Kauffmann, Editorial Director, Le Monde;
- Lia Quartapelle, Member of the Chamber of Deputies, Italian Parliament;
- Danylo Lubkivsky, Director of the Kyiv Security Forum, Former Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine;
- Tetyana Ogarkova, Chief of the International Department of the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center;
- Lykke Friis, Co-chair of ECFR’s Council, Director of the Danish Think Tank Europa, former Minister for climate, energy and gender equality.
Moderator: Marie Dumoulin, Director of the ECFR’s Wider Europe program.
The event will take place at Kyiv Mohyla Business School (Voloska st., 8/5, 4th floor). The conversation starts at 18:30 and will be held in English without translation.
