Poetess, writer, literary critic, journalist

Born on March 2, 1954 in the village of Hrebinky, Kyiv region. Lives in Kyiv.

Graduated from the Faculty of Philology (specialisation in Ukrainian language and literature) of the Kyiv T. Shevchenko State University (now Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv).

She studied the Czech language at the Summer School of Slavic Studies at the Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic, 1994, 1998).

She worked as a teacher, leading scientist of the Kyiv Literary and Memorial Museum of Maksym Rylskyi, head of the press center of the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", columnist of the newspaper "Vechirniy Kyiv", editor of the department and editor-in-chief of the magazine "Ukrainian Culture", scientist of the Ukrainian Centre for Cultural Studies of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.

Member of the National Union of Writers, Association of Ukrainian Writers (AUP).

Member of the NGO "Women and Mass Media", Kyiv Institute of Gender Studies.
