Ponomarenko Maryna
Maryna Ponomarenko was born in 1984 in the village of Hryhorivka, Kyiv Region.
She graduated from the Kyiv State University of Theater, Film and TV named after I. Karpenko-Kary (specialisation – film and TV dramaturgy, workshop of Bohdan Zholdak).
Screenwriter of the short films "Isolde" (dir. K. Kucher, 2011), "Borysivna" (dir. O. Bykov, 2018). Based on her poems, the performance "TutIZar" (2022) was created in the "ToTeatr" theater. Maryna wrote film reviews for the sites "Nash Kyiv", "RBC", "Obozrevatel", etc. She worked on television and in the field of communications.
Maryna's poetry has been translated into several European languages.
Her poems were published in the magazine "Kyiv", "Ukrainian literary newspaper", on the Internet portal "LitCenter", as well as in other periodicals, collections and anthologies.
