Chupryna Yevheniya
Born on July 24, 1971 in Kyiv. Ukrainian poetess, writer, playwright.
Member of National Writers' Union of Ukraine and National Union of Journalists, Volodymyr Korolenko Prize winner.
Studied at the Faculty of Philology of Kyiv National University.
Published her opinion pieces in "EGO" and "XXL" magazines, as well as in "24" newspaper. Held the position of the deputy editor of the men's magazine "XXL".
Had been a literary agent of writer Oles Ulianenko until his death.
Bibliography
The author of two poetry collections: "Compositions" ("Твори") (1997, 2000) and "Bottom View" ("Вид знизу") (2002), as well as the novel "Romance with Pelmen" ("Роман з Пельменем") (2000, 2002). Her literary works were published in such literary miscellanies as "Uzberezhzhia" (Philadelphia), "Stalker" (Los Angeles), "Neva" (Saint Petersburg), "Veselka" (Kyiv), "STYKH" (Dnipropetrovsk). The play "Tsvietaieva + Pasternak" was staged in "Suziria" modern theater in Kyiv. Speaking out against the concept of copyright, Yevheniya waived her copyright to the novel "Orchids Have Not Yet Bloomed" ("Орхидеи еще не зацвели"), and granted it into the public domain on the "Network Literature" ("Сетевая словесность") website.
