Chernov Mstyslav
Mstyslav Chernov is a famous international journalist with the American news agency Associated Press and the president of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP). He was born in 1985 in Kharkiv and currently lives in Germany.
Throughout the last eight years, Mstyslav Chernov had worked on the topics of war and social conflicts, healthcare and the global climate crisis in Iraq, Syria, Libya, the Gaza Strip, Europe and Asia.
Chernov participated in the projects of the UN, ICRC and other international NGOs. His photographs and articles were published in the NY Times, Washington Post, Independent, Telegraph, Le Monde, Die Zeit, BBC, Forbes, Dailymail; videos on the BBC, CNN, AL JAZEERA, EURONEWS, SKY NEWS.
Mstyslav Chernov is a teacher, author of exhibitions and curator of educational programs.

Distinctions
Mstyslav Chernov is twice a winner and twice a finalist of the Royal Television Society, the most prestigious European award in the TV journalism industry. He won the APME international competition in the category of video journalism. Chernov is a finalist of the Cameraman of the Year within the Rory Peck Awards, the most prestigious award for documentary freelance video journalists, a finalist of the Livingston Awards 2019, one of the most prestigious awards for journalists in the USA, and twice a winner of the Photographer of the Year. Ukraine competition in the categories of report and documentary photography.
