Bogdana Romantsova
Bogdana Romantsova was born on April 20, 1991 in Kyiv. She has graduated from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, and has a PhD in literary theory. Her thesis is on the time dimension in the European modernist novel.
Since 2015, Bogdana has been working at the Tempora Publishing House as a literary editor. She has curated series such as "American Postmodernism", "European Modernism" and others. Bogdana has founded the discussion projects "Dialogues about" and "Versus". Since 2018, Bogdana has been a permanent lecturer on the platforms Litosvita, Cultural Project, Prometheus and Nobilitet. Since 2019, she has been the curator of the Litosvita Annual Writing Skills Program.
At various times Bogdana was a literary columnist and observer for various media: The Ukrainian Week, LitAkcent, Lektura, Chytomo, LB.ua, Bokmol, Ukrainska Pravda, hromadske, Sensor, Dwutygodnik (Poland) and others. She is an author of essays and columns published in Polish, German, Czech, Lithuanian media.
In 2024, Bogdana became a host of the The High Shelf podcast, which won the Slushno award as the best literature and reading podcast of the year.
