Rafeyenko Volodymyr

Born in 1969 in Donetsk. Prose writer, poet. From 1992 to 2018, was writing in Russian, published his works mostly in Russia and was regarded as a representative of Russian literature. In 2014, having moved to the Kyiv region, learned Ukrainian, started writing his new novel in Ukrainian, and become a full-fledged representative of Ukrainian literature as well.

Graduated from Donetsk University with a degree in Russian philology and cultural studies. Worked as an editor in such Donetsk publishing houses as "BAO" and "Kassiopeia", as a deputy editor in "Mnogotochiye" Magazine. Author and complier of popular science and applicative books, detectives.

In the wake of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, moved together with his family to Poroskoten in Kyiv region.
