Dron Artur

Author of poetry collections such as Dormitory №6 (2020) and We Were Here (2023), and a short prose collection Hemingway Knows Nothing (2025). His poetry has been translated into 10 languages. His book We Were Here has been published in Sweden, Norway, Poland, and the UK. A few more publications are in process.

Since spring 2022, Artur Dron has served as an infantryman in the 125^th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine. He participated in combat missions in the regions of Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia. In the fall 2024, he was heavily wounded in action and has been undergoing rehabilitation, therefore. In summer 2025, he demobilized from the army.
