Др. Олеся Хромейчук — письменниця та історикиня. Авторка книг "The Death of a Soldier Told by His Sister" (2022), в українському перекладі "Смерть солдата. Історія, розказана його сестрою" (2023) та ""Undetermined" Ukrainians. Post-War Narratives of the Waffen SS "Galicia" Division" (""Невизначені" українці. Повоєнна історія Дивізії Ваффен СС "Галичина""), 2013). Хромейчук пише для Нью-Йорк Таймс, Нью-Йорк ревю оф букс, Гардіан, Шпігель, Проспект та Нью стейтсмен і виступила на TED конференції на тему "Чому світ може навчитись з боротьби України за демократію".

Хромейчук захистила докторську дисертацію в Університетському коледжі Лондона (University College London) 2011 року. Викладала в Королівському коледжі Лондона (King’s College London), Університеті Східної Англії, Університетському коледжі Лондона та Кембриджському університеті.
