Born in 1947 in Kyiv, she is a poetess, prose writer and artist.
Immediately after finishing school Inna started working as a sculptor, a toy maker.
In 1975, she joined the youth section of the Artists’ Union. Solo exhibitions of her pictures were held in Moscow and Kyiv.
Since 1990, Inna has seriously taken up literature. Her first publications were not released in her homeland, but in the New York Russian-language journal “The Time and Us”, which published over a dozen of Inna’s stories.
Her prose and poetry soon has begun to appear in printed Ukrainian, Israeli, Russian and German magazines.
In 2003, Dukh i Litera Publishing House released Inna Lisova’s book of stories “The Lady Checking In…”; in 2006, her book “Solitaire: Four Queens” was released; and in 2009, a novel “Bessarabian Romance”.
In 2010, the same Publishing House issued her first poetry collection “On the Asphalt Bank”.
