Myroslava Barchuk is a journalist and TV presenter. Graduate of the School of Journalism, Kyiv National University. In the mid-1990s she was a correspondent of Radio Liberty in North America and worked as a translator in Canada. From 1998 to 2000 she worked at 1+1 TV Channel in the capacity of editor and host of Breakfast With 1+1 Show and Night Show. From 2001 to 2005 she was the editor-in-chief of Welcome to Ukraine magazine; she also contributed many articles to this magazine. From 2005 to 2012 she worked as editor and presenter of the New Time Show at TV Channel 5. Myroslava Barchuk was among almost 400 journalists to initiate the Stop Censorship public movement. Starting from 2013, she worked for TV Channel TVi as editor and host of Homo Sapiens Show. Since 2016, she has been working as presenter of the Evening with Myroslava Barchuk news and analytical show at TV Channel Espresso.

In 2021, Myroslava Barchuk was the presenter of the Scope program (series of dialogues with Ukrainian intellectuals) at Hromadske TV. Since 2022, she has been the host of the PEN Ukraine online project Proper Names.
